Optimization Sales Connection (OSC) is a partner engagement framework based on Optimization sales methodologies, offering a rich set of guidance and resources to help partners become trusted Optimization Solution Providers by aligning their solutions with specific Optimization capabilities.
By honing and delivering solutions that support Microsoft Optimization sales methodologies, partners can increase revenue from each customer engagement and develop deeper, more strategic, customer relationships. Once a partner completes the OSC requirements, they gain access to premium OSC program benefits.
The OSC program is designed for Managed Partners . For non-managed partners interested in becoming involved in the OSC please first visit the Microsoft Partner Program.
If you are a Microsoft partner that wants to be a trusted Optimization Solution Provider, Optimization Sales Connection (OSC) offers the guidance and resources needed to help you qualify your solutions based on specific Optimization capabilities. Additionally, OSC offers a framework to enhance synchronization between your organization and the Microsoft field for sales and deployment engagements.
To gain access to the resources identified on the OSC Partner Resources tab, partners must complete the following OSC partner
requirements:
Planning and Reporting: Optimization PSP - Complete an Optimization-related Partner Solution Plan (PSP) with your Partner Account Manager (PAM) and report progress quarterly.
Readiness: Optimization Training - Attend the "Selling
with IO Workshop" or one or more Optimization Universities
Solution Development: Optimization Solution(s) - Achieve an Optimization-related competency in the Microsoft Partner Program (MSPP) What are Optimization-related competencies?
Develop, profile, and validate (with a Microsoft technical resource)
one or more solutions that map to capabilities within one or more of
the Optimization models.
